I'm a huge fan of Zoe Sugg, better know as Zoella. In one of her blog posts, she teaches how dehydrate oranges and, naturally, I wanted go give it a go.
It's kind of a DIY post because after all we can do this ourselves and it's super easy! Besides, your house will smell really cozy.

In order to do this, you will need:
Some oranges, napkins or a roll of paper and an oven!

After cutting the oranges into thin slices, just wrap them in some napkins or kitchen paper, so it helps absorb some of it's excess juice, and place them near a window to make them dry even faster. As soon as they are somewhat dry somewhat dry, remove the paper towels and place them in the oven for 3-4 hours at 80ºC. When you think they are propely dried and firm, take them out of the oven and let them cool for a bit.
When they are finished cooling and ready, you can use them to decorate candle plates, scent plates, centerpieces with other elements in them or even place them in a little jar, add some dry flowers and offer it to someone. I think that makes a simple yet beautiful present with a super natural touch but a personal one at the same time and I'm sure the other person will love it.
