Sempre adorei ler revistas e sempre fui preguiçosa para ler livros.
É verdade, não vale a pena mentir!
Como num post que anteriormente escrevi (podes lê-lo, clicando aqui) mencionei que me obrigava a ler livros mas para isso tinha de despertar o meu interesse imediatamente, senão acaba por ficar esquecido na prateleira.

Like I previously wrote on another post, (you can
read it by clicking here) I mentioned that I forced myself to read books but
they had to pique my interest immediately, otherwise it ended up being
forgotten on the shelf.

Tanya Burr - Tanya's Christmas -
Há algum tempo que sigo a Tanya Burr, gosto imenso dos vídeos que faz para o YouTube e da personalidade dela. Como o livro é dela, claro que se auto-propagou nas redes sociais dela. Então no instastories fez alguns vídeos de como era o livro e adorei porque tem vários temas com os quais me identifico.
Há algum tempo que sigo a Tanya Burr, gosto imenso dos vídeos que faz para o YouTube e da personalidade dela. Como o livro é dela, claro que se auto-propagou nas redes sociais dela. Então no instastories fez alguns vídeos de como era o livro e adorei porque tem vários temas com os quais me identifico.
Fala sobretudo das histórias pessoais passadas ao longo da vida dela na época Natalícia.
Depois introduz os temas de Culinária, DIY's (presentes que podemos fazer para oferecer), dicas para embrulhar presentes, dicas sobre decoração para casa e festas, e no fim fala também sobre o mesmo mas dedicado ao Ano Novo.
Como podem calcular adorei mesmo o livro, primeiro porque adoro o Natal e segundo porque me inspira imenso a todos os níveis. Tanto de culinária, que adoro cozinha; como DIY's que será sempre a minha paixão; decorações para casa e festas e por fim as fotografias, que também me ajudam bastante a ter novas ideias de como fotografar variadas coisas.
I've been following Tanya Burr for some time, I really enjoy the videos she makes for YouTube and her personality. Because its her’s, of course the book has spread itself on her social networks. So on her instastories she made some videos of what the book was like and I loved it because it has several themes that I identify with.
It speaks especially of the personal stories that have passed through her life during the Christmas season.
She then introduces the topics of Cooking, DIY's (gifts we can do to offer), tips to wrap gifts, tips on home decor and parties, and in the end she also talks about the same but dedicated to the New Year.
As you can imagine I really loved the book, first because I love Christmas and secondly because it inspires me immensely at all levels. Both, for cooking, since I love cooking; like for DIY's which will always be my passion; decorations for home and parties and finally the photographs, which also help me a lot to have new ideas on how to photograph various things.
Este pequenino livrinho é perfeito para fazer crescer a magia do Natal nos coraçõezinhos de cada criança.
A história é contada em espécie de poema, porque a cada quadra rima sempre, fala sobretudo numa menina que quer muito acreditar que vai ver o verdadeiro Pai Natal na noite de Natal. E será que ela vai realmente conhecer o verdadeiro Pai Natal?
Apesar deste livro ser para crianças, adorei ler a forma como foi escrita toda a história e adorei ainda mais todas as ilustrações a preto, branco e dourado! Muito idênticas à da capa como podes ver na foto em cima!
Este livro apesar de ser em inglês será muito útil para continuar a explorar esta língua, já tão falada mundialmente.
E por fim e não deixa de ser importante, é super baratinho!! portanto é perfeito como prendinha de Natal!
This little book is perfect for growing the magic of Christmas in every child's heart.
The story is told sort of like a poem, because every block always rhymes, it talks mainly about a girl who wants very much to believe that she will see the real Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. And will she really get to know the real Santa?
Although this book is for children, I loved reading the way the whole story was written and I loved all the black, white and gold illustrations even more! Very identical to the cover as you can see in the photo above!
This book despite being in English will be very useful to continue to explore this language, already so widely spoken.
And last but not least, it's super cheap!! so it's perfect as a Christmas present!
Como o própria capa do livro diz "Ideal para crianças dos 9 aos 99 anos, este é um novo clássico de Natal!"
Ainda não acabei de ler este livro, mas estou a adorar ler porque (digam o que disseram) adoro ler histórias de fantasia, principalmente que me inspirem e este livro é um deles. Acho que ainda há uma criança dentro de mim que ainda acredita em toda a magia do Natal e no verdadeiro Pai Natal! 😛
Conta a história da vida de um rapaz e da sua viagem até ao Polo Norte, em busca do seu pai que viajou para ter um emprego onde ia ganhar bem para conseguir sustentar o filho. Supostamente o seu pai iria em busca da Elfolândia (nunca descoberta antes) e se a descobrisse iria receber uma grande fortuna por parte do Rei.
Mais não posso revelar, só posso dizer que é realmente inspiradora para esta altura do ano!

I haven’t yet finished reading this book, but I’m loving it because (whatever they say) I love reading fantasy stories, especially those that inspire me and this book is one of them. I think there's still a child inside me who still believes in all the magic of Christmas and the real Santa Claus! 😛
It tells the story of a young man's life and his journey to the North Pole, in search of his father who traveled to have a job where he would work a job to be able to support his son. Supposedly his father would go in search of Elfland (never discovered before) and if it were discovered it would receive a great fortune on behalf of the King.
I cannot reveal any more, I can only say that it is really inspiring for this time of year!
